Greenpoint will complete the interior integration of both aircraft at its modification facility in Moses Lake, Washington. Greenpoint is working closely with third-party designers to develop the interiors in accordance with client requirements, and will provide the engineering, manufacturing, installation, and certification required to complete both aircraft. The two-aircraft program builds on Greenpoint’s established experience delivering BBJ 787 interior completions.
“It is an honor to be selected for this important program,” said Klaus Koester, CEO of Greenpoint Technologies. “This contract reflects the confidence our clients place in our team to deliver highly complex aircraft interiors with quality, precision, and consistency. We look forward to bringing these two exceptional aircraft to life."
The BBJ 787-8 contract follows a separate contract signed earlier this year for a BBJ 787-9 interior completion program. Greenpoint has a long history working on Boeing commercial platforms, including interior completions, modifications, and maintenance services for private individuals, corporations, and heads of state.
