Greenpoint Technologies Delivers BBJ Modification Program Early

Greenpoint Technologies delivers a Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) modification program early for an undisclosed customer. Due largely to strong teamwork and swift coordination between Greenpoint and their client, the modification far surpasses the expectations laid out in the original program plan.

The BBJ communication upgrade required an extremely tight schedule. The Program contract initiated in October 2010 with a first of model (FOM) modification scheduled for early December 2010. Seamless coordination and expeditious engineering enabled the team to start the FOM modification on November 30th and test on December 2nd, completing the program notably ahead of schedule.

Greenpoint is on target for a full Boeing Business Jet interior completion with the same client inducting the first quarter 2011. In preparation for its arrival, the team is enjoying accelerated success with early deliverables. All interior components are anticipated on dock one month prior to aircraft induction due to engineering and procurement surpassing the intentioned schedule. “The completion is ahead of schedule creating a positive experience for our client,” states Adrian Osborn, Greenpoint’s VP of Programs.

Greenpoint continues to perform ahead of plan, with BBJ completions and specialized Boeing 747-8 products, the Aeroloft™ and Aerolift, including a substantial backlog into 2013.
