Greenpoint Technologies is an SBID Awards 2017 Finalist

Greenpoint Technologies is a finalist in the Society of British and International Design (SBID) International Design Awards 2017, CGI & Visualization category for the Crystal Skye 777-200LR interior design.

Greenpoint designed the Crystal Skye interior for Crystal AirCruises, resulting in a luxurious aircraft completion consistent with Crystal’s brand and mission to redefine luxury travel. Specialized elements include an expansive lounge featuring a center bar, sofas, custom coved ceilings, dining tables, and ample space for guests to socialize.

“It is an honor to be recognized as a finalist in the SBID Awards. From the beginning, we worked closely with Crystal to create an aesthetically pleasing, functional interior designed to meet service requirements for today’s elite jetsetter. The artistic renderings and visualization process showcased the interior in advance of delivery for Crystal’s marketing brochures, website and video. The finished interior completion represents a culmination of efforts by the entire Greenpoint team, and we feel humbled to bring this interior concept to life,” explains Annika Svore Wicklund, Greenpoint Design Director.

The interior design industry regards the SBID Awards as one of the most prestigious accolades, representing talent and design excellence across many industries. Each entry undergoes a two-tier judging process by panels of leading industry experts for both technical content and aesthetic creativity and evaluates essential elements such as brief compliance, budget, health & safety, and fit-for-purpose design. Judges include industry professionals from global design corporations such as Aston Martin, BBC Radio 2 & 6, National History Museum, The Boeing Company, Google, AECOM and more.

The public are invited to cast their votes at www.sbidawards.com, until Friday, 25 August 2017. Winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony in London on Friday, 27 October 2017.
