Greenpoint Technologies Expands Management DER Team

Greenpoint Technologies (GTI) expands in-house Management Designated Engineering Representatives (DER).

GTI recently added two (2) more Management DERs to their in-house engineering team; Mr. James Jarriault and Mr. Steve Huey. With a combined total of thirty (30) years in aviation, Mr. Jarriault and Mr. Huey signify the knowledge and experience GTI offers their clients. The additional delegation increases GTI’s bandwidth to support the upcoming certification efforts required for the new Boeing 747-8 and 787 deliveries.

Focusing on certification and safety standards upfront promises comfort and peace of mind to the end client, knowing their safety is a priority. “I enjoy the challenges of aircraft certification and being a member of the FAA team striving for increased aviation safety. The FAA Aircraft Certification Service and its Engineering Designees form a closely knit core of professionals with the common goal -- maintaining the flying public’s safety first and foremost,” states Mr. Huey.

Streamlining the certification and completion process, GTI strives to provide flawless engineering packages. This in turn lowers costs throughout the life of the aircraft for maintenance and future upgrades. With both Flammability and Management DER delegations, Mr. Jarriault states, “I enjoy a cordial and trustworthy relationship with my FAA advisor in support of my aviation career which is always challenging and personally rewarding. I never dreamed I’d be involved in certifying a Self Defense Laser system on a Boeing 737 aircraft, now that’s Hi-Tech!”

Additional DER applicants include Mr. David Drum and Mr. Jeff Spellman. GTI provides its employees growth opportunities to develop professionally in order to support their career goals.

Keeping in line with goals, GTI continues to deliver programs ahead of schedule. GTI’s next BBJ completion is on track to deliver two (2) months ahead of the contracted delivery date.
