Greenpoint Aims for Perfection With ISO 9000/AS9100 Certification

Greenpoint realizes great successes, completing extremely complex projects on-time and within budget. This consistent achievement level is due, in part, to an internally developed process driven framework. This framework dictates Greenpoint maintain documented processes and procedures via its certification as an ISO 9000/AS9100 organization.

Greenpoint has been living the ISO 9000/AS9100 certification way of life since 2004. The ISO model has enabled Greenpoint to easily anticipate ongoing expansion needs as projects demand additional human resources and infrastructure. When a question arises, the processes related to that area of understanding are evaluated, and revised, as appropriate, through Greenpoint's highly effective change system. The Greenpoint business methodology is flexible and adapts to support business requirements. The framework is documented in the company’s Business Management System (BMS). The BMS is Greenpoint’s “process structure” and is successfully utilized by every Greenpoint employee on a daily basis.

Additionally, all company data is cataloged within the BMS, from engineering drawings to financial data.

The BMS is regularly appraised by Greenpoint’s internal auditors to further ensure all employees comply with its rigorous standards. Annually, an external auditor surveys the company’s BMS system for compliance to AS9100 standards. In recent years, audit results reflect the following scores: 2010: 100 of 100 points; 2009: 100 of 100 points; 2008: 95 of 100 points; 2007: 100 of 100 points; 2006: 99 of 100 points; 2005: 100 of 100 points; 2004: 100 of 100 points. Greenpoint's Business Management System is highly robust and well established enabling an ever improving and predictable work environment where projects, and products, are produced within a highly disciplined setting.

Greenpoint continues to perform ahead of plan with Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) completions and specialized Boeing 747-8 products, the Aeroloft™ and Aerolift, including a substantial backlog into 2013.
