Greenpoint Technologies Obtains Aeroloft® EASA STC

Greenpoint Technologies, a Zodiac Aerospace Company, recently obtained the first European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the 747‐8 Aeroloft® program. This will be the first of four Aeroloft® certifications this year.

Our core business is designing and manufacturing unique interior solutions, and the Aeroloft® is a perfect example of engineering and certification collaboration resulting from customer demand,” affirms Greenpoint CEO Scott Goodey.

The Aeroloft® is a modular product developed specifically for the Boeing VIP 747‐8 aircraft. It offers eight private sleeping berths located above the main deck in the aft section of the aircraft, providing a comfortable and relaxing rest area during flight. Passengers use a forward entry staircase at door four to access the Aeroloft®. Greenpoint has four installation certifications scheduled for 2015.
